SEEN’s “What’s In and Out” for 2025

SEEN’s “What’s In and Out” for 2025

At SEEN, we’re not about following trends. We’re committed to developing haircare that everyone can enjoy, including those with sensitive and acne-prone skin. Sure, we were innovators when we launched products designed to optimize the health of the hair and skin. Now, six years later, we continue to expand our offerings, because everyone deserves stronger, smoother, healthier-looking hair with products that won’t have a negative impact on the skin. With 2025 upon us, here’s SEEN’s list of what’s “in” and “out.”

In: Your healthiest skin and hair
SEEN believes that haircare is skincare and treats it as such. Our Epidermal Rebalancing Technology includes skin-friendly ingredients that minimize the risk of allergies, irritation, and breakouts. At the same time, our products respect the skin barrier and are subjected to testing protocols that are often reserved for skincare before products hit shelves. Because of this multi-faceted approach, SEEN can deliver stronger, smoother, healthier-looking hair and calm, happy skin.

In: Haircare that’s safe for sensitive and acne-prone skin
Good hair days are even better when your skin looks and feels it’s best, too. All SEEN formulas also go through formal third-party testing to ensure they are safe for sensitive skin and non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) before they are introduced to customers—and every product is available fragrance free for those who prefer fragrance-free or may be allergic to fragrance.

In: Making people feel seen
We love hearing from customers who say that SEEN has made their lives better, and in some cases “life changing.” (Check out our reviews for yourself.) Whether they’ve struggled with sensitive skin, breakouts, or fragrance allergies, knowing that we’ve had a positive impact on so many lives is what keeps us going. If you’re not already, be sure to follow @seenhairandskin on Instagram, where we share SEEN success stories from real customers.

Many of us were happy to leave 2024 behind and start fresh for 2005. From our perspective, we’d like to say bye-bye to these “outs” for good.

Out: Haircare that clogs pores
Fact: Acne can be caused by haircare products. SEEN performed a study that was published in a peer-reviewed dermatology journal that showed rinse-off and leave-in haircare products can leave a residue that can remain on the skin for hours. This can pose an issue for acne-prone skin, especially when using haircare products that contain pore-clogging ingredients. Based on these residue study findings, SEEN performed a dedicated dermatologist-led clinical study that showed 70% with body acne improved and 52% with face acne improved just by switching to non-comedogenic and non-medicated SEEN Shampoo and Conditioner for eight weeks.[1]

Out: Skipping heat protection
The easiest way to show your strands some love is to apply heat protection before reaching for a hot tool. This is an essential step if you want your healthiest hair yet, and SEEN Magic Serum shields strands from heat up to 450º F. Blow-Out Creme and Curly Creme also offer heat protection up to 450º F along with extra benefits like UV and pollution protection for the hair while helping you achieve the style you’re after.
