Early in the formulation process, Dr. Rubin actually applied versions directly to her face, as an initial test to see if the product will cause breakouts or irritation. All SEEN formulas ultimately go through formal third party testing before they are approved. In addition, we consult with contact allergen specialists to gather input on ingredients and new data about ingredient reactivity.
