What does this mean? If you’re one of the more than 8 million Americans living with psoriasis, you can enjoy happy, healthy skin and beautiful hair! Those with psoriasis often struggle to find haircare products that don’t irritate their skin, the NPF Seal of Recognition highlights products that are safe and gentle enough to use for people living with psoriasis.

A closer look at psoriasis
Psoriasis can cause itching on the skin and scalp, but this genetic, immune-related skin condition is primarily characterized by raised, red patches of skin covered in silver scales. Though most common on the scalp, elbows, and knees, psoriasis can cover larger areas of the body as well. Every time you shampoo and condition, a variety of potentially irritating ingredients come in contact with active psoriasis (unless you use non-irritating haircare products like SEEN’s!). After careful review, the NSF deemed these products safe for people with psoriasis and/or individuals living with sensitive skin.
